CORPORATE AND INVESTMENT BANKING INTERN (RECRUITS ATTACHMENT & INTERNSHIP)
Banking · Westlands, Nairobi
Closes 1 Nov 2026 Full-time 4 positions
Stanbic Bank Kenya is offering an internship within its Corporate & Investment Banking division at its Westlands offices, for students interested in corporate finance and capital markets. The intern will support the compilation of client-account documentation, assist analysts with basic financial-statement analysis under supervision, and help organise materials used in client-pitch and credit-proposal preparation. Additional duties include supporting data entry for transaction-monitoring reports, assisting with research on industry sectors relevant to corporate clients, and observing client-relationship meetings where appropriate. This attachment offers valuable exposure to how a leading pan-African bank structures corporate lending, trade finance and investment-banking solutions for large businesses operating in Kenya and the wider region. It is well suited to students pursuing finance, economics, business administration or accounting who wish to build a career in corporate or investment banking. Interns will work under the mentorship of experienced relationship managers and analysts, receive orientation on the bank's risk and compliance framework, and are required to observe strict confidentiality given the sensitive nature of corporate client information. On successful completion, interns receive a formal attachment certificate recognising the corporate-banking competencies gained during the placement at Stanbic Bank Kenya.
