KCB Bank Kenya is a leading commercial bank in Kenya offering retail, corporate and digital banking, credit and savings products across the country. The Credit & Loans Assistant attachment sits within the Credit & Loans Department, where the attachee will support loan-application processing and documentation, assist loan officers with client follow-ups, and help maintain credit files, working alongside experienced staff and gaining hands-on, supervised exposure to how the organization runs on a day-to-day basis. Additional details: KCB Bank Kenya views the Credit & Loans Assistant position as an opportunity for a student attachee to gain structured, real-world exposure within the Credit & Loans Department. Over the course of the placement, the attachee will be guided by experienced staff and will support loan-application processing and documentation, assist loan officers with client follow-ups, and help maintain credit files. The organization expects the attachee to observe workplace professionalism, punctuality, confidentiality and a willingness to learn, and in turn commits to providing supervision, an orientation to relevant systems and procedures, and constructive feedback throughout the attachment period. Attachees who perform well may be considered for short-term casual assignments, be given a strong reference letter for future employment, and, in select cases, be considered ahead of external applicants should a suitable entry-level vacancy arise within the department after the attachment period. KCB Bank Kenya treats every attachment as a genuine two-way relationship — the student contributes real support to the team, while the organization invests in developing the student's practical, workplace-ready skills for their chosen career path.
