The intern will be attached to the retail banking operations team and will gain exposure to account opening processes, customer service standards, cash and cheque processing support, and basic compliance and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation review under close supervision. The role also involves assisting with filing and digitisation of customer records, supporting reconciliation of daily transaction reports, and shadowing relationship officers during customer engagements. This is a valuable opportunity for students pursuing banking, finance, economics, business administration or a related discipline to understand how a modern commercial bank operates day to day, while developing professional skills in accuracy, confidentiality and customer relations. Interns will be paired with a workplace mentor, participate in periodic training sessions, and be evaluated on attendance, initiative and adherence to the bank's code of conduct. On successful completion, interns receive a formal attachment completion letter that can support future employment or academic requirements.
