ICEA Lion is offering an internship within its Investment & Asset Management department at its Riverside offices, for students interested in fund management and financial-markets analysis. The intern will support the compilation of market data for investment reports, assist analysts with basic performance tracking of equity, fixed-income and property portfolios under supervision, and help organise documentation used in investment-committee presentations. Other duties include supporting research on economic and market trends relevant to portfolio decisions, assisting with basic data entry into portfolio-management systems, and observing investment-strategy discussions where appropriate. This attachment offers valuable, practical exposure to how a leading regional insurance and investment group manages pension, unit-trust and proprietary investment portfolios across multiple asset classes. It is well suited to students pursuing finance, economics, actuarial science or investment-related fields who wish to build a career in asset or fund management. Interns will work under the mentorship of experienced investment analysts, receive orientation on the firm's investment policy and confidentiality requirements, and are required to handle sensitive portfolio and client information with strict discretion. On successful completion, interns receive a formal attachment certificate recognising the investment-analysis competencies gained during the programme at ICEA Lion.
