APA Insurance is offering an internship within its Sales & Marketing department at its Upper Hill offices, for students interested in insurance product marketing and distribution. The intern will support the compilation of marketing-campaign materials, assist with basic market research on customer needs and competitor offerings, and help organise logistics for promotional events and agent-training sessions. Other duties include supporting data entry for sales-performance tracking, assisting with preparation of client-facing marketing collateral, and observing coordination meetings between sales, marketing and product teams. This attachment offers valuable, practical exposure to how a leading general insurer markets and distributes motor, medical, travel and property insurance products across Kenya. It is well suited to students pursuing marketing, business administration, insurance or communications who wish to build a foundation in insurance sales and marketing. Interns will work under the guidance of experienced sales and marketing officers, receive orientation on the company's brand and communication standards, and are required to maintain confidentiality regarding client and business information handled during the placement. On successful completion, interns receive a formal attachment certificate recognising the sales and marketing competencies gained during the programme at APA Insurance.
