CHEMICAL PRODUCTION AND QUALITY CONTROL INTERN (RECRUITS ATTACHMENT & INTERNSHIP)
Non governmental · Ruaraka, Nairobi
Closes 1 Nov 2026 Internship 4 positions
Crown Paints Kenya is offering an internship within its Production and Quality Control department at its Ruaraka manufacturing plant, for students pursuing chemistry, chemical engineering or industrial technology. The intern will support batch-mixing monitoring under supervision, assist with routine quality-control testing of raw materials and finished paint products, and help compile production and laboratory test records. Other duties include supporting inventory checks for raw-material stock, assisting with documentation for regulatory and safety compliance, and observing standard operating procedures governing handling of chemical inputs used in paint formulation. This attachment offers valuable exposure to how a leading, NSE-listed paint manufacturer combines chemical formulation, quality assurance and industrial safety to deliver consistent product performance across its range. It is well suited to students pursuing chemistry, chemical engineering, industrial technology or materials science who wish to gain hands-on manufacturing and laboratory experience. Interns are required to strictly observe all chemical-handling and personal protective equipment protocols given the nature of materials used in the plant. On successful completion, interns receive an official attachment certificate recognising the production and quality-control competencies gained during the placement at Crown Paints Kenya.
