SUPPLY CHAIN AND PRODUCTION INTERN (RECRUITS ATTACHMENT & INTERNSHIP)
Government · Tea Rd, Industrial Area, Nairobi
Closes 1 Nov 2026 Internship 4 positions
Unilever Kenya is offering an internship within its Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations department at its Tea Road factory in Nairobi's Industrial Area, for students interested in FMCG production and logistics. The intern will support production-line monitoring under supervision, assist with compiling daily output and quality-check records, and help coordinate raw-material and finished-goods stock movements between warehouse and production areas. Additional duties include supporting basic data entry into the factory's production-management system, assisting with preparation of shift-handover reports, and observing standard operating procedures for hygiene, safety and quality compliance on the factory floor. This attachment offers strong exposure to how a global FMCG manufacturer runs high-volume, quality-controlled production lines while meeting strict food and consumer safety standards. It is well suited to students pursuing supply chain management, industrial engineering, food science or production technology who wish to gain hands-on factory-floor experience. Interns are required to strictly follow all occupational health and safety protocols, including protective equipment usage, given the industrial nature of the workplace. On successful completion, interns receive an official attachment certificate from Unilever Kenya recognising the production and supply-chain competencies gained during the placement.
