KWFT Bank (Kenya Women Microfinance Bank) is a licensed microfinance bank focused on providing savings, credit and financial-inclusion services, particularly to women entrepreneurs, across Kenya. The Banking Operations Assistant attachment sits within the Banking Operations Department, where the attachee will support branch and cash-office operations, assist with account-opening documentation, and help process customer transactions under supervision, working alongside experienced staff and gaining hands-on, supervised exposure to how the organization runs on a day-to-day basis.
Additional details: KWFT Bank (Kenya Women Microfinance Bank) views the Banking Operations Assistant position as an opportunity for a student attachee to gain structured, real-world exposure within the Banking Operations Department. Over the course of the placement, the attachee will be guided by experienced staff and will support branch and cash-office operations, assist with account-opening documentation, and help process customer transactions under supervision. The organization expects the attachee to observe workplace professionalism, punctuality, confidentiality and a willingness to learn, and in turn commits to providing supervision, an orientation to relevant systems and procedures, and constructive feedback throughout the attachment period. Attachees who perform well may be considered for short-term casual assignments, be given a strong reference letter for future employment, and, in select cases, be considered ahead of external applicants should a suitable entry-level vacancy arise within the department after the attachment period. KWFT Bank (Kenya Women Microfinance Bank) treats every attachment as a genuine two-way relationship — the student contributes real support to the team, while the organization invests in developing the student's practical, workplace-ready skills for their chosen career path.
